I received the Sony Cybershot DSC-T90 for Christmas. Unfortunately, the Memory Stick Pro Duo card that it requires does not fit into the card slot in my 8 month old Toshiba Satellite laptop (running Windows 7). I thought using the cables were a bit cumbersome so I searched electronic stores for a USB adapter with no luck. I simply wanted to plug the card into the USB device, then plug the USB device into my computer. The device installed automatically and then I was able to view the photos. It does exactly what I wanted so I’m very pleased with this item.

I purchased the Sony MRW66E/H1/181 for my Mac and it works perfect right out of the package.
*Under the tech details it list MS Pro as a supported memory card. The card reader will only support the smaller DUO size. It also list the Memory Stick Micro (M2) and it does support it however the adapter is required.

Needed a way to be able to allow my wife to be able to view, upload photo’s from her Sony camera using her new Macbook Apple MacBook MC207LL/A 13.3-Inch Laptop. My wife is not a techie at all and while she is blessed with being able to sun her winter away at our condo in mexico, being able to see photo’s of her and our little dog is what keeps me sane!!!
Very simple, plug in Memory Stick into reader, insert reader. On the Macbook, the reader appear as an icon on the desktop. From there you can copy the pictures or in my wife’s case, she simply uploaded directly from the reader to Facebook.
Reader is nice and small, cap is perfect to protect it (mind you would love to see a connection string from the reader to the cap, so that you wont lose the cap)!
Data transfer is great, not noticeable on 3.2 meg pictures and even when I transfer 13.3 meg pictures, very fast (yes I aso have one of these readers which i use on both my Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Macbook).
If you need a reader for Sony cards, this is the one….

The service is on procedure on schedule. I purchased, & it delivered. No complain. The product received as it displayed on the web and it is new. This USB plug converter (I called it this way) does the job. My family members are heavy Sony users, so we are very happy the stick reader makes our Sony camera pictures transfer to computers easier.

Item works great and allows felibility, especially if you don’t want to carry the cords or expend the battery life in your camera.
